Fist of the Blue Sky

Kenshiro Kasumi is a lecturer at the Towa Women's University in Japan, who seems particularly easy-going. However, his past soon catches up with him, and Kenshiro heads to Shanghai to defeat his past enemies.

As the 62nd successive master of Hokuto Shinken ("Fist of the North Star"), Kenshiro is a powerful martial artist who once used his talents to be the bodyguard of the Qing Bang Triad. However, their rivals, the "Hong-Hwa," have taken over the Qing Bang's turf in Shanghai and have made use of colonial French forces to prevent the Qing Bang from recovering, so Kenshiro finds himself forced to reassume his role to help resurrect his former gang while protecting the innocent from further harm in Shanghai.
