Tweeting Final Fantasy XIII

So, I'm staying home "sick" today (shhh, don't tell) to play Final Fantasy XIII. I'll be doing a video of my first impressions later in the day, but if you're curious as to what I'm thinking as I go, keep an eye on the Anime Vice Twitter feed-- I'll be tweeting along with the game. I'm not quite sure HOW massive the tweet pile will turn out, so if you already follow us, consider yourselves warned! 
 
Er, note that I'm not going to live-tweet the entire GAME. Just the first hour or so. I'll try not to spoil anything big, either :)

Midterms, Assignments, Labs and Exams in 3 weeks keep me from taking a sick day. :( Oh well once May/summer comes along I'll be sure to spend many evenings with the game (along with the rest of my backlog) and in the mean time I do have Sands of Destruction on my DS and soon Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver (I bought both but I think I'm going to go through Soul Silver first since I played Gold back in the day.

You probably shouldn't post about you being "sick" at your work's forum, ;P.  Then again, you're the boss lady. 
 
Dont worry about the combat system seeming simplistic, they lay it on very very light as the game goes on, cause it gets really robust and complex later on.  Best battle system I've seen in an FF, it just starts super slow.

SInce you are confined to a wheelchair, can't you make somebody go get it for you?  Can't imagine somebody refusing that request 
 
Also yes, a stream would be a pretty cool thing to do.

I would assume no one could turn down getting a handicapped person their Final Fantasy. It would just be immoral.
 
P.S. It was pretty terrible having a reminder, from work, that you were playing the game when many of us couldn't. Its like when you scratch bug bites. You know it feels good at the moment, but it makes things worse in the long run.

@John_Martone: You have plenty of time soon hopefully to get all of your 'australian-but-not-australian-accent' girl needs fulfilled. 
 
Unless you have a much bigger need for that then I imagine.

You have noooo idea. Occasionally I loop movies with Hugh Jackmen to get the male version of that itch scratched.
