Final Fantasy Forum

It's no secret that I'm really disappointed that Final Fantasy XIV is going to be an MMORPG; I like Final Fantasy games for the fact that they end and that I can play them on my own when I have time without worrying about when anyone else has time. MMOs are cool and all, but after XIII am I really going to have to wait until XV for that experience?
But I'd be remiss in my duties if I didn't tell you that XIV does look really freakin' pretty. Look at some of these shots. There are at least four races, although only three are described on Gigazine's post: Roegadyn, big hulky folks "of undauntedness," catpeople of some kind, Elezen, who are basically elves ("race of noble"), and Hyur, who are humans ("race of variety"). Hit up Gigazine for a few more snapshots, or just watch the whole trailer here.
