Speaking of Final Fantasy: Legend II Gets DS Remake

Don't you hate it when news that should go together appear separately? Kotaku reports that the next Final Fantasy to get a remake/adaptation is NOT Final Fantasy VII (still), but rather Final Fantasy Legend II (aka SaGa Hihou Densetsu). Now, I admit, I'm not very up on the Legends (or, honestly, practically any of the Final Fantasy games outside of the main line, except maybe Tactics), so here's a request: share your thoughts on the game (and pending remake)!


That said, I do know that it featured a class-based system (you could play as Human, Mutant, Monster, or Robot). Given Square's propensity towards adding classes in remakes, like Onion Knight in Tactics's PSP version and FFIII's DS version, I wonder if we might see new options in this remake?...

I had both FFL 1 and 2 for the Game Boy back in the day.  I hope they balance out the leveling better this time.  No more random character leveling and weapons breaking please.
