Set on a future Earth, two scientists, Aki Ross and Dr. Sidd, are searching for a sollution to free the Earth from an invading, hostile alien race known as Phantoms ( who arrived on Earth by meteorite and feed on the life energy of every living thing ). Aki Ross and Dr. Sidd believe the sollution lies within 8 life forms which possess spirits capable of defeating the Phantoms. But General Hein doesn't believe in the " spirits " and wants to take more direct actions. He wants to use a satelite weapon to destroy the Phantoms by firing it at the meteorites crash site.
