Something that isn't from the manga. Could be characters, episodes, and so forth.
The most common use for the word "Filler", is to describe an episode or a character that does not affect the story of an anime or a manga at the end. Fillers are mostly used in order to fill in a void in a schedual, to pad out the story to buy time for the creators or to simply earn money.
