Look, I know that complaining about the way girls are proportioned in anime figures is a pretty fruitless activity, because as long as the world generally wants women to be buxom and scrawny at the same time, that's how figure makers will make 'em.

But, look at this slightly terrifying Asuka from Evangelion. Even if it's not insane in the bust department, but it kinda looks like someone took a shot of Asuka, stretched it out to be taller, and then stretched out her hips to be a bit wider. Now, I know this is a resin kit-- and not a cheap one at that (¥13,000, about $135 USD) –so most of us aren't likely to buy it. But even if a really awesomely painted copy of this thing was mass-produced and made all nice and affordable, I still don't think I'd buy it. I think it'd give me nightmares. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and, half-asleep still, try to feed it a cheeseburger.

kratos1010: It's a resin kit, meaning that whoever buys it puts it together and paints it themselves, so it's technically not fair to blame the paint job on the kit itself.

But...yeah. @_o;

The thing that bothers me the most is that her legs are slightly crossed... and yet her thighs NEVER touch o_o...
