When Gargantia intersects with the Milky Way of the sea, it means there'll be a fishing bonanza, which in turn leads to a festival. Ledo finally gets his chance to catch fish, underwater in a Yunboro, though he's ill-prepared for the job. But during the festival, Ledo is approached by both Pinion and Bellows, both of whom want to partner up with him for salvage work. Meanwhile, Chamber is on a solo fishing mission of his own, but the giant mech ends up causing even more trouble...

As Ledo ponders on how he will use his salary, Amy swoops in and introduced Ledo to a fisherman who gives Ledo a job to net fish. When Ledo attempts to catch fish in the Yunboro, he flounders in the water because he does not know how to swim in the mech.

Later, Amy invited Ledo to lunch. While eating lunch, Amy's friends drop in and she decides to leave after she invited Ledo to a festival. Ledo decides to observe the festival while Chamber catches the fish.

As Ledo sits on deck and carves his flute, Pinion invites him to dinner and a show. While they eat, Pinion offers him a job to help him salvage treasures from the deep. Bellows overhears their conversation and interrupts to offer Ledo a job as a salvager. A waitress then brings a plate of octopus to the table and Ledo freaks out when he thinks it is a Hideeauze. Bellows tells him that he has much to learn. Suddenlt, Chamber contacts Ledo and asks for his assistance.

After Chamber had pulverized the fish, Ledo is forced to step in to collect the fish. With the help of the Yunboro, Ledo is able to capture an abundance of fish. After eating the fish, Ledo notices lightning striking the water, and he asks Chamber to scan for enemies. Chamber is unable to find anything. Ledo and Amy then watch the veils of light. Amy then dances for Ledo like she did during the festival.

Afterward, Ledo and Amy visit Bevel. Ledo mentions that he had been invited to salvage with Bellows and Pinion. Bevel tells Ledo how lucky he is and Ledo decides to salvage.

Choosing Bellows as his partner, Ledo dives to the bottom to uncover some gears. He then finds a Hideauze and swims upwards to battle it.
