Plot Summary

Michelle Lobster
Michelle Lobster

A mysterious, strange figure burns a church down, and then, a priest wakes up from nightmare. He wonders what would happened next. On the train, Michelle Lobster waits patiently for her destination. Later, Lisanna and her family wonder what to do with Lisanna's grave (church) since she is alive. Happy brings up the grave that he and Natsu built. Mirajane suggests keeping it as a memento but change the inscription. It appears that the priest from the Magnolia church is on a pilgrimage. At the magic council, Lahar speaks with his superior about the destroyed churches, and his superior instructs him to investigate it. At the Fairy Tail guild, Lucy reads about the church bombings and finds Lahar's photo. Romeo wonders about Natsu who is tired; Carla tells them that her ability, Precognition, can only pick up vague things. Then, Michelle arrives where Lucy doesn't recognize her. Immediately, she cries. After the tears, she addresses Lucy as "nee-san" which shocks everyone. Later, Michelle corrects Happy's misunderstanding of Lucy's father having an illegitimate daughter by explaining that her family and Heartfilia families are distant relatives. Lucy wonders why Michelle called her older sister, and Carla and Happy clears up any misunderstandings. Just as Michelle tries to embrace Lucy, she drops the case on her toe. Michelle explains that she has been looking for her ever since to deliver her father's memento.

Natsu tells them to open the case for Michelle's sake where they unwrap the mysterious key-like object which Carle becomes terrified of. They do not know what the memento is for, and Michelle tells them that she is hungry. By the river, Michelle follows Lucy to her house while holding Plue. Lucy tells her how much she loves her guild, and Michelle states that Lucy's father would be proud of her. Inside Lucy's house, Michelle gazes at Lucy's parents' photos and then reads Lucy's latest novel script. Lucy finds her crying about Iris. Moments later, Michelle notes that Lucy has big dreams while she has none. Lucy cheers up Michelle by allowing her to live here and help her guild as a job. A montage of Michelle helping the Fairy Tail guild is shown while Lucy narrates. Lucy notes that there is something about Michelle that makes her want to protect her and wonders if her father has sent her here to live with Lucy to avoid living alone. In front of the guild, Asuka rides Makarov's back, and Natsu informs Lucy about their latest mission to catch some bandits. Michelle wants to go with Lucy on the job, but Lucy refuses. Natsu, Happy, and Gray are okay with Michelle while Makarov and Asuka show victory signs. Erza explains that Michelle can get some experience which is similar to how Lucy gain experience was in the S class mission. Before heading out, Lucy vows to protect Michelle.

Somewhere in Fiore, Gray goes over the mission, and Erza arrives with a cart and a plan. She and Erza would be decoys while Gray and Natsu wait in the back. Then, they launched a simultaneous attack. However, Natsu objects to the plan due to motion sickness. To fix this situation, Michelle proposes to be the decoy. Lucy and Michelle drives the cart down the path with Erza and Gray in the back while Natsu and Happy soar from above. When the two girls arrive to the bandits blockade, Lucy executes Erza's plan by showing her curvaceous body in a bikini. Though, the plan fails when the bandits are turned off by Lucy's appearance, but they find Gray very attractive as they attempt to rob the cargo. Gray blasts them, and Erza proceeds to catch them. Michelle lends a hand when the boss attacks Lucy whose magical whip does not work. From the sky, Natsu defeats the boss.

With the mission over, Michelle proposes to Lucy to put up a request to find the mystery of Jude's memento. Natsu volunteers to solve it; Makarov and Macao talk about Michelle's background. Carla still expresses concerns. When Michelle trips and the memento falls, the memento levitates with glowing characters that look like Runes revealing on itself. Lucy asks about Levy, but Makarov inform her that Levy and Freed are on a mission. He tells her to give up on this request, but Lucy vows to solve the riddle for Michelle's sake.
