Fancy Lala

Overview

Fancy Lala, known in Japan as Fancy Lala, the Magic Stage (魔法のステージ・ファンシーララ, Mahō no Sutēji Fanshī Rara) is a magical girl anime series produced by Studio Pierrot in 1998. A two-volume manga adaptation by Rurika Kasuga ran in Ribon. The original designs were created by Akemi Takada, who worked on many of the 80's Studio Pierrot series. The anime series has been licensed for English release by Bandai Entertainment.

Plot

Miho is an eight-year-old girl with a secret: using her two magical pets, Pig and Mog, and her magical sketchpad, she can turn into the beautiful teenage fashion model known as Fancy Lala. As might be expected in a rehash of Creamy Mami, she attracts the attention of 19-year-old local wiseguy Hiroya, who falls in love with her adult version, not realizing she is only a child underneath.

Characters

Miho Shinohara

Nine year old girl Miho is not only talented but can transform into a supermodel and gets the best out of both lives. She is kind, clumsy, and stubborn. Her main love intrest is Hiroya Aikawa but through the series that changes. Her other side gets more busier will Miho has to run out of school every day which makes her athletic too.

Hiroya Aikawa

Is about the same age as Fancy lala and even he is cool, kind, hot and popular. Later in the series gets more better and better but Miho knew her choice from the very beginning.

Taro Yoshida

Is the neighborhood boy and even though Miho fights with him quite often they care about eachother more then they think. He is young, athletic, caring, stubborn and charming.
