just started reading the manga, and i might start watching the anime. but before i do one question is on my mind that may turn me away from the anime. is it headed towards the typical inuyasha, FMA, soul eater, manga isnt finished yet so we'll come up with our own bs ending ending? cause i watched the first FMA, and Inuyasha, and a few other animes, only to be met with those horrible made up endings and i dont want that happening again.

@DH69: I don't think you have to worry, the anime is so far ahead of the manga right now that they won't even need a filler arc for at least another year. And after that they'll get back to the series. Inuyasha had that kind of ending because they started way too early, and FMA and SE had those endings because they were monthly mangas so it was impossible for them to finish before the animes, but Fairy Tail is weekly.
