Franky, Nami, and Robin on Fish-Man Island
Elsewhere o Fish-Man Island, Nami is rinsing out her bikini top when she notices something under the water approaching at high speed. The creature bursts from the water to reveal it's Franky. He's holding an unconscious Robin. Robin eventually wakes up to find Nami watching over her. Franky comes back after scouting the area, and Nami asks if he found Luffy and the others. Franky tells her not to worry since they wont die that easy. He wants to find the Thousand Sunny and suggests they go to the town he found nearby.
Sanji in Mermaid Cove
Back in Mermaid Cove, Sanji happily coverts in his lecherous joy with the welcoming mermaids. While Sanji plays, Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper watch from nearby. Luffy's wishes he could swim and play, and Camie tells him that he can swim in a special bubble. Chopper is just happy that Sanji has gotten better. His blood type is rare.
Luffy wants to see Jimbei
Luffy tells Camie that there's someone he really wants to meet. She asks if he means the mermaid princess, but Luffy tells her he wants to meet Jimbei. Usopp's shocked to hear that Luffy is friends with the former Shichibukai. Luffy owes Jimbei for reminding him that he hadn't lost everything after Ace's death. They promised two years ago to meet at Fish-Man Island. He asks Camie where Jimbei is, but she tells him that he's not on the island right now. Because he joined the Shichibukai, both Jimbei and the rest of the Fish-Man Pirates were banned form the island. She tells him that it's a long story about how the events of the last two years have effected the island.
Ryugu Gondola arrives
Suddenly, the Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets call out to warn that they saw a huge ship approaching. It's the ship of the royal family. Camie tells them Luffy and the rest to hide, and Ishilly pulls Sanji happily off with her. Camie can see in the distance that the ship if the royal gondola of the Ryugu Palace. The other mermaids doubt that anyone from the royal family are on board since they never come out this far away.
The crew hiding
The gondola stops to the grand introduction of the three Neptune brothers, the sons of the king. The elder brother Fukaboshi greets the girls of the cove and has something to ask of them. Luffy peaks out from his hiding spot as he hears the cheers of the mermaids. Ishilly pulls Sanji to her to avoid him being spotted. At first he's surrounded in a darkness and an unfamiliar soft sensation. The sensation is milky smooth and oddly comforting. He opens her eyes to ask Ishilly about the sweet scent and find his face buried between her breasts. He location and her gentle smile send Sanji howling in joy.
Fukaboshi talks with the mermaids
Fukaboshi tells the mermaids that he had heard of an illegal entry into the island. He wonders if they had come here. Ryuboshi, the second son, adds in song if they the mermaids see anyone to tell him fast. The third son, Manboshi, dances as he says he wants to stay here and play. The mermaids of the cove deny seeing anyone. Another asks what makes these intruders so important that it would bring the royal princes out. Fukaboshi can only say that he's not sure if they are who he believes. Ryuboshi repeats in song what Fukaboshi just said, and Manboshi has lost his patience and wants to dance.
Nearby, Hammond, Hyozo, and Kasagon with a giant sea bear look on to the royal princes at Mermaid Cove. Hyozo asks what they should do, and Hammond suggests they watch for now. Fukaboshi thanks the mermaids for their help and suggests they shall look elsewhere. As they start to leave, Manboshi calls out that he hopes they can dance again, and Ryuboshi says a farewell in song. Fukaboshi thinks to himself that the border guards were just imagining things.
Sanji pressed into Ishilly's chest is quickly reaching his breaking point. Faster the faster the pressure is building until it reaches critical. Sanji suffers a massive nosebleed that erupts like a volcano. It's so large that it even catches the attention of the princesses. Luffy and the rest of the crew are in a panic and Fukaboshi notices Luffy. They turn back and he calls for the Ammo Knights. Armored solders leap from the Ryugu Gondola and surround the Straw Hats.
Elsewhere on Fish-Man Island, Zoro is lost in a forest of coral. he's frustrated and feels as if he hasn't made any progress. He's quickly surrounded by several members of the Ammo Knight, who ask if he's the Straw Hat Pirates' Roanona Zoro. Zoro places his hand on his sword and asks, "So, what if I am?".
Back at Mermaid Cove, Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper are surrounded, and Hammond and the other watch. Chopper leaps in front of the soldiers. he apologizes fro their illegal entry, but he asks if anyone can donate blood to help save Sanji. He says Sanji has blood type S RH Negative and needs a transfusion or he'll die in an hour. The mermaids look on worried but silent. Usopp shouts that it's a dumb way to die, and Luffy drops to his needs to ask for their help and bows. Camie appears out of the water nearby. She tells Chopper and mermaids and humans have the same blood, but she's cut off by the laughter of Hammond.
Hammond demands Luffy follow him
Hammond mocks the humans for talking nonsense, and a soldier identifies Hammond to Fukaboshi as being from the Fish-Man District. Hammond laughs that no one on the island would ever give them blood. Anyone who would risks being attacked in the dark by human haters. He tells them of an old law that forbids giving blood to humans. Usopp and Chopper are shocked, but Hammond says that it was humans who set this rule first. Humans have treated Fish-Men as monsters and refused to give their blood. He says this was the cause of the death of Fisher Tiger. Despite freeing slaves of all races, he died when he could have been saved with a blood transfusion. Hammond then delivers the ultimatum to Luffy. He orders Luffy to leave his crew member to die, and come with his to the Fish-Man District to meet Hordy Jones.
Sanji getting worse
Usopp tells him to shut up and he begs the soldiers and mermaids around them to help. he'll do anything to repay them, but everyone stay motionless and silent. They all look filled with regret. Sanji is hemorrhaging, and Camie dives off into the water.
Luffy wins with little fight
Hammond pulls out a gun, and Luffy activates Gear Second. Hammond fires a net that Luffy quickly avoids. He tells them that he refused to join them already. To further make his point, Luffy fires off three Jet Pistol strikes. All three are blasted back, but Hyozo is still standing. The sea bear attacks Luffy from behind, and he quickly tames the best with Conqueror's Haki. The princes watch in amazement. Usopp and Chopper are shocked that the monster gave up without any fight. The mermaids are also surprised at Luffy's power.
Camie hollers to Luffy and the others from above. She's hi-jacked the Ryugu gondola to transport Sanji into town. She tells them there are humans at the harbor towns. Luffy picks up Sanji and the others, and launches them up to the gondola. She asks the Ryugu to hurry, and she apologizes for taking the ship. She promises to return. Ryuboshi sings that they don't have a ride home now.
Camie and the others rush to save Sanji
As they ride away, Camie apologizes and says if she had the right blood type she would give him some. Usopp tells her her fault since it's Sanji's own lecherous ways that caused all the trouble. He's even still smiling. Sanji's mumbling to himself about them being bouncy. Chopper tells Sanji to not think about anything. Usopp remembers how Camie and Hatchan were discriminated against on Sabaody. Luffy sits quietly as Camie's worried they may not even find a donor quickly when they get into town. For the past month human visitors have been rare. Luffy thought this was a popular spot, but Camie adds that rumor is that someone is standing in the humans' way. It's someone powerful.
Fukaboshi missed giving Luffy the message from Jimbei
At Mermaid Cove, Fukaboshi asks why the mermaids lied to him about the pirates. They apologize for hiding them. They were friends of Camie and nice people, so, they didn't want them to get into trouble for the illegal entry. Ishilly hopes Sanji will be alright. Fukaboshi tells them that they misunderstood their intentions. Ryuboshi in song tells them they were looking for Luffy for another reason. Fukaboshi regrets that he missed giving Luffy the message from Jimbei.
