Summary

Opening Theme-

"Crazy Rainbowstar" by Tackey & Tsubasa

This episode begins rather spoiling the images of the new Wanted Posters and the new Bounties. Only Sanji's goes unseen just yet. Robin has an up to date photo for her Wanted Poster.

Franky and the Galley-La Workers are working on this new ship through the night. This scene of conversation is not canon to the manga.

Kokoro reflects on how Franky and Iceburg used to be together. Now they are building a ship.

Franky warns Iceburg that by helping build the pirate ship of the Straw Hat crew. He could be under the same danger that fell on their mentor, Tom. Iceburg reminded Franky of the lesson Tom gave them many years ago. That you can't make a pirate ship. It's up to the user to decide what the ship is used for. It's just about building with pride.

Franky remembers of what he was run over by the sea train and how he wanted to be like Tom.

We finally get to see what happened to Franky after the train hit him. This is canon, but it's out of continuity for the manga. He was floating in the water with a large junked cruise ship drifted close. He climbed aboard and this is where he made himself a cyborg.

The scene switches to the conversation Franky and Iceburg had after Franky's return after becoming a cyborg.

Usopp wanders to the Galley-La building where the crew is staying. He climbs the fence, looks in, and it seems that for some reason there is a lot of tension. Zoro and Luffy look angry and no one is saying anything. This is a canon scene, but again out of continuity. We also never see the scene from Usopp's perspective in the manga.

Usopp tries sneezing outside the window to get attention. Nami approaches but closes the curtains. The lights go off inside. Seems they didn't hear him.

Members of the Franky Family arrive with food and other supplies. This scene and Franky's conversation with Iceburg about what his future plans, and Franky thinking the the kind of crew the Straw Hats are not in the manga.

The sun is starting to rise. Franky and Iceburg are the only guys still moving and building.

We finally go back to canon events from the manga as Nami announces the log has been set for the next island. Nami notices that the Log seems to be pointing slightly downward. Kokoro knows they are headed toward Mermaid Island.

The only person who seems overly excited by that idea is Sanji. Even Luffy is of sound mind enough to know how Nami feels about Mermen after what happened to her village. Zoro reasons that Arlong was a pirate. There is no reason to expect others to be like Arlong.

Sanji happily agrees with Zoro and talks about how mermaids are the greatest beauties of the sea. He looks to Kokoro and becomes depressed.

Kokoro tells the crew that getting to Mermaid Island wont be easy. She tosses Nami the newspaper. It reads that in one month 14 ships disappeared in the Florian Triangle.

Kokoro tells them of the horrors that are in the Florian Triangle. Such as ships with no crew or ships filled with the dead. Luffy is excited, but Nami is completely against the idea in any fashion. Nami and Chopper are chilled with fear.

Robin reasons that ghost ships are all a part of the legend of treasure ships. Now Nami is excited to go, and Luffy backs her up on the idea.

The Square Sisters appear with Chimney to tell the crew the ship is completed.

Right behind them the Franky Family rushes to the building. They have terrible news as they see it. They have brought Luffy and the crew's new Wanted Posters. Nami seems to be the only one who doesn't wish to have a bounty.

These are the new Bounties.
Luffy 300,000,000
Zoro 120,000,000
Nami 16,000,000
Chopper 50
Robin 80,000,000
Sanji 77,000,000

Usopp's Sogeking poster is shown, but not the bounty amount.

It would seem that someone failed to take a picture of Sanji. In it's place a crude and poor sketch of Sanji was used. He's devastated. He believe it looks nothing like him.

Robin Looks happy to see her new Wanted Poster. A new picture and Bounty.

Chopper is in shock at how minor his bounty is.

There is a continuity error in Nami's photo. If you go back and read the summary of episodes 315 and 316. The comments point out that at no time during the party does Nami appear to be wearing her Log Pose or bracelet. It doesn't even seem to be nearby. In the photo, that shows the Franky Family enjoying the barbecue in the background, clearly shows Nami wearing her Log pose and bracelet. This is also true for the manga.

What the Franky Family still has to show is a new poster. Franky has a poster with a 44,000,000 Bounty. They are worried for Franky and plead with the crew to take Franky with them. Even if they have to force him. He says that Franky is the child of a pirate.
