Plot

Yuuta Togashi suffered from chuunibyou while he was in middle school. When he graduated, he put that dark history behind him and forgot about it... or he was supposed to. High school was smooth sailing and full of enjoyment - until the unavoidable, sad event occurs. The event that locks Yuuta into a contract with Rikka Takanashi and disrupts his desperately ordinary life.

Kyoto Animation To Release "Even If (I) Am Delusional, (I) Would Like to Fall In Love!" Anime Series This Fall [Confirmed]
A relatively new light novel series currently in production by Kyoto Animation's own Novel department, it came as a surprise to hear that the team at Kyoto Animation have announced that they will be making a anime series out of the Even If (I) Am Delusional, (I) Would Like to Fall in Love franchise. Aimed at a Fall 2012 launch, this series will have a love/comedy-infused theme as the show follows around Togashi Yuta, a troubled teenager who suffered what he deemed as "delusions of youth" when he was back in secondary school. When he moves up to high school, the mysterious Takanashi Rikka, one of the female students at his school, tries to drag him back into the fold by forcing herself upon his company.
