Sumire Nagara is a Character introduced in the 3rd Rebuild Movie of the Evangelion Franchise

Shinji Ikari's late mother and the wife of Gendo Ikari. Yui died in 2004 as a result of her Contact Experiment with Eva-01, but lives as a soul within the Eva as eternal proof of humanity's existence.
