Eva Heinemann

Eva is the daughter of the director of Eisler Memorial Hospital and the ex-fiancee of Dr. Tenma. A materialistic and snobby woman, Eva had thoughts of marrying Tenma only for gaining the position of "the director's wife" as Tenma climbed the ranks of the hospital. When Tenma was demoted by her father, Eva broke off their engagement dropping her wedding ring on the ground in front of Tenma. Following the murder of her father, a distraught Eva tried seeking comfort from Tenma only to be rejected because of the woman's earlier rejection of him. She becomes a depressed alcoholic who went through three divorces and used the settlement money from all three to fund her lavish lifestyle. When Runge seeks her as a witness to connect Tenma to her father's murder, Eva offers up incriminating evidence which forces Tenma to flee from the hospital where he worked. While Eva does have doubt that Tenma had murdered her father, she wishes to see him imprisoned for rejecting her advances after her father's death.
