A popular magazine publisher and software producer.
Enterbrain was founded on April 1st, 2000, and is highly affiliated with ASCII Corporation, a division of Kadokawa Shoten. The company focuses primarily on publishing video-game related materials, including games, magazines aimed at gamers, and manga for a gamer/otaku demographic.
The company is perhaps most famous for its publication Weekly Famitsu, a game magazine well-known for its rankings. In recent years, Famitsu has lost some of its reputation as the previously rare full score of 40 has become decidedly less rare.
On the manga front, Enterbrain's best-known anthology is Comic Beam, known for titles like Emma, the soon-to-be English-released Wandering Son, and award-winning time-travel comedy Thermae Romae.
