On her way home from a drinking binge, Ayaka stops her cab driver from crashing into a 3 car pileup that could likely have killed them both, though in the process he recieves a fractured shoulder. The next day, when going to the hospital to give him flowers, she discovers that he died, and finds a mysterious scar on his abdomen that disappears while she watches. While investigating, Ayaka learns that from Kouzou the police have been suspicious of this hospital for quite some time, in relation to an organ-legging operation, but have been unable to find proof. They investigate and determine that the doctor had made a deal with a devil to cover his tracks - the devil removes the scars and gets the souls of the doctor's victims, while the doctor gets the organs. Togeather with pyrokinetic Nanami Rokugou, Suimei, and exorcist Rokkon, they defeat devilish doctor. Unfortunately for Mamoru, Ayaka spends much of the extensive reward for this case on a shopping binge, instead of letting it be spent on paying debts.
