Strong against Water and Flying types, weak against Ground and Grass types.

Overview

Electric type is one of the 18 types of Pokemon available. Electric type moves used to be all special attacks but some of them are now physical.

Battle Properties

Offensive

Electric type Pokemon are immune to the paralysis stat. They are super effective against Water and Flying types. Electric type does not affect Ground type. They are also ineffective against Dragon, Electric and Grass attacks.

Defensive

The only weakness Electric type have is from the normal type moves, but due to some Pokemon having dual-type they might have more weaknesses. From the I generation the Electric type were resistance against Electric and Flying attacks, but afterward the Steel type was added.

Moves

Status

  • Charge - The Pokemon boosts his Electric move it uses on the next turn. It also raise the Pokemon Special defense
  • Eerie Impulse - The Pokemon Generates an eerie impulse which reduces the target special attack
  • Electric Terrain - The Pokemon electrify the ground for 5 turns. Pokemon touching the ground can't sleep
  • Electrify - If the target is electrified before it uses a move during that turn, the target's move becomes Electric type.
  • Ion Deluge - The Pokemon release electricity which change Normal-type attacks to Electric-type
  • Magnet Rise - The Pokemon Levitate for 5 Turns
  • Magnetic Flux - Every Pokemon withe plus and minus abilities gets their defense and special defense risen
  • Thunder Wave - Causes paralysis to the opponent

Physical

  • Bolt Strike - The Pokemon charges his body with electricity which may paralysis the opponent on contact
  • fusion Bolt - The damage from this attack gets increased if another Pokemon uses Fusion Flare or Blue Flare immediately before the Pokemon using Fusion Bolt.
  • Nuzzle - The Target gets paralyzed
  • Spark - The target may get paralyzed
  • Thunder Fang - Might flinch the target or leave it paralyzed
  • Thunder Punch - Might leave the target paralyzed
  • Volt Tackle - Causes damage to the user and might leave the target paralyzed
  • Wild Charge - Causes little damage to the user.

Special

  • Charge Beam - The user attacks with an electric charge. Any remaining electricity Might be used by the Pokemon to rise his special attack
  • Discharge - Might causes paralyzes
  • Electro Ball - The faster the user against the target the greater the damage
  • Electroweb - Reduces the target speed
  • Parabolic Charge - The user attacks everything in the field increases it's HP by half for every target got damaged
  • Shock Wave - This attack cannot be evaded
  • Thunder - Might causes paralyzes
  • ThunderBolt - Might causes paralyzes
  • Thunder Shock - Might causes paralyzes
  • Volt Switch - After attacking the Pokemon switches with another Pokemon in waiting
  • Zap Cannon - Causes damage and paralyzes
