El-Hazard: The Magnificent World User Reviews

Now, I'm a guy who likes to watch something smart, something witty, and... only occasionally, something totally out of left field and stupid. This is a combination of all the above. 
 
Basic lowdown- Take one average male Japanese high school student named Makoto,  his arch-nemesis Jinnai, Jinnai's sister and Makoto's childhood friend Nanami, and their teacher Masamichi, throw them into a strange new world with each person gaining special abilities due to this travelling, and have the main guy be mistaken for a female- to be more precise, a PRINCESS!!! Things can only go sideways from here on out.
 
 How does the simple explanation rank up with everything else? Well, put simply, the storyline's got great flow and pace to it, all considered for a fantasy setting; the dialouge's spot-on in the English dub (considering Pioneer/Geneon did the dub in the first place); and some of the characters and their interactions with others are, well... out of left field.
