One of Japan's older anime studios and producer of the longest-running cartoon series in the world.

One of Japan's older studios, Eiken was originally Tele-Cartoon Japan before it became Eiken in 1969.  The company is a subsidiary of the advertising agency Asatsu-DK (ADK) and is best-known for the world's longest running cartoon series ever, Sazae-san, which has aired weekly from 1969 to this very day, with over 1800 episodes.

Although its assets preexisted as TCJ (Television Corporation of Japan), an advertising animation company founded in 1953. The business was instrumental to many early TV anime such as Gigantor and incorporated as a limited company in 1973. Concentrates on blue-chip investments like Sazae-san.
