History

Team Raikage

Upon hearing the news of Killer Bee's capture, Ei erupted and sent Killer Bee's students, Samui, Omoi, and Karui, to Konoha to give the Hokage an invitation to a Kage summit in the Land of Iron to discuss what to do about Akatsuki, and also to request any information they have on Akatsuki and Sasuke.

Ei sets out to the summit with his bodyguards, Shii and Darui. On his way to the summit he encounters Naruto, Kakashi, and Yamato; Naruto begs Ei not to kill Sasuke, but he rejects Naruto's pleas and tells him that a ninja is judged by their strength and that he shouldn't beg, and also said that Sasuke is an international criminal that needs to be stopped.

Interrogation

While at the summit, arguments and finger pointing started to ensue, including the accusations that the Cloud village had been gathering power and resources and making the other villages nervous. The Kages try to decide who should lead the alliance, in which the moderator, Mifune, opted for Danzo. This turned out to be Danzo's trick and chaos was about to erupt, but Zetsu's white half pops up in the middle of the Kage meeting, telling them that Sasuke's hiding somewhere and wants them to go find him. Raikage rushes Zetsu and threatens to kill him if he doesn't tell them where Sasuke is, Zetsu offers to give him a hint but Raikage apparently kills him out of frustration and runs off with his bodyguards Shii and Darui to look for Sasuke.

Raikage Vs Sasuke

Raikage does find Sasuke, Sasuke rushes head-on but Darui defends with Water Encampment Wall to force Sasuke back, then uses an electrical attack called Wave of Inspiration to attack, but Sasuke's able to escape. Shii then uses a genjutsu on Sasuke, stunning him while Darui and Raiakge go in to kill Sasuke, but Juugo and Suigetsu save Sasuke... unfortunately Suigetsu's cracked sword is broke in two from Raikage's punch. Juugo uses his full cursed form and Raikage slams him against a wall with a thunderous punch, but Juugo endures it with a shield and fires a large energy blast at Raikage, but he dodges and slam Juugo against another wall which takes him out of the fight.

Lightning Crashes

Sasuke tries to attack Raikage from behind, but Raikage knocks Sasuke's sword from his hand. Sasuke then uses Chidori and rushes at Raikage. They charge at each other, Sasuke manages to avoid Raikage's attack and hit him with Chidori, however Raikage is too durable and only Sasuke's fingertips pierce him. Raikage then gives Sasuke a powerbomb, but Sasuke saves himself from any serious damage with Susanoo. Sasuke then tries to use Amaterasu, but Raikage uses Body Flicker to avoid it and goes to attack Sasuke again, Sasuke however uses Amaterasu to cover Susanoo but Raikage ignores it and strikes anyway, thrusting Sasuke into the ground. Raikage is about to deal the finishing blow when Gaara appears and stops him.
Gaara tries to talk sense to Sasuke, find common ground, but Sasuke refuses to come to an understanding. While this is happening, Raikage severs his arm that's burning from Amaterasu and is being healed by Shii. Sasuke's Susanoo starts to fully form and everyone launches projectiles, but Susanoo swings his sword and causes the building to collapse on them and flees with Karin to find Danzo. Raikage and the others get out of the rubble and go back to the meeting room where Madara appears and tries to negotiate with them, Ei also learns that Killer Bee wasn't captured and is running around somewhere. When the Kages refused to assist Madara, he declared the 4th ninja world war.

After leaving the summit, Ei, Darui, and Shii notice a battle going on and Shii realizes Killer Bee's involved. They arrive to find Kisame attacking Killer Bee and intervene, Darui throws a kunai that breaks the sword Kisame took from Killer Bee. Bee and Ei do a tag-team lariat which decapitates Kisame. Ei then grabs Bee by the face and yells at him for making him lose his arm. Ei is later seen with Team Samui reuniting with Bee.

Shinobi World War Arc

Early in the war against Mandara, the five Kage met to discuss the plan for the military offensive. Raikage stayed in the room to control the actions of armed alliance Shinobi beside Tsunade, while Darui is commanding a battalion of the fleet as general officer. In the room of war, Raikage learns that Akatsuki raised his father the third Raikage (Chapter 525). On the battlefield, when Darui prepares to march with the troops, behold Kinkaku and Ginkaku appear from the dead. Upon learning this news, Raikage is angry and he wants to go to the battlefield to fight the Kin-Gin Brothers, but Tsunade asks the Raikage to calm down. The Raikage tells the story of Silver and Gold Brothers. The Kin-Gin Brothers are the most reviled criminals in the history of the hidden cloud. When the second Raikage made an alliance with Konoha and the second Hokage, the Kin-Gin brothers tried to stage a coup d`État and Ambushed the Kages. Raikage also reveals that during their era the hidden cloud tried to capture the nine tailed fox. Apparently the fox eats the two of them (they survived and raged inside his stomach for two weeks, some of the fox`s chakra remained with the Kin-Gin Brothers). After a hard struggle, Kikaku was sealed inside a pot. Later, when Bee and Naruto break the barrier and they go to the battlefield for them to join the battle. The Raikage finally decided that he will settle the Jinchuuri himself. Tsunade and went with him to help (Raikage put Shikaku in charge of the headquarters of the alliance's armed ninja).

When Bee and Naruto are about to reach the battlefield to fight Madara. The Raikage and Tsunade arrive to stop them. Bee he asks his brother to let them pass. However, the Raikage says that both will not go another step forward. Tsunade notices that Naruto possesses an incredible chakra (naruto finally managed to control the power of the Kyuubi). The Raikage gets very angry and he says that this war is to protect the last two Jinchuurii from the hands of Madara.
Naruto gets angry and he says he will not stand idly by while so many people are just dying to protect him. The Raikage is pragmatic and he says it is better to die a large number, than the world will fall into the hands of Madara and his powerful Jutsu. Naruto yells that he is human like everyone else and he tries to jump over to pass under the Raikage. The Raikage counters with a powerful punch and Naruto is projected away.

Naruto Vs The Raikage

Naruto asks Tsunade to help you get it, but the Raikage does not let Naruto move to the battlefield. Tsunade realizes that the power of the Kyuubi, Naruto can maintain a speed approaching the speed of the Raikage. Naruto says that the Raikage is quite fast for an old man, but the Raikage says that he is the fastest Shinobi, now that the fourth Hokage is no longer around. Naruto asks if he knew his father and the Raikage says than he and the fourth Hokage fought many battles together (there was never a man that could surpass him).
The Raikage says that Jiraiya believed that the fourth Hokage would bring peace and stability necessary for the Shinobi world. But Jiraiya was wrong because the fourth Hokage died in the attempt to defeat the Kyuubi and the Fourth Hokage is now dead. The Raikage says that Naruto is an idiot and he continues to say silly. However, Naruto knows that his father died to sacrifice in the fight against the Kyuubi on Konoha 16 years ago. And his father did not die in vain. Naruto says: “ The fourth Hokage did not fail at all”. Killer Bee begins to consider to help Naruto against his brother. The Raikage is angry and he says he will kill Naruto right now. (Raikage wants win some time before the Kyuubi being resurrected). The Raikage decides to attack with full force. Tsunade yells to the Raikage stop. But to the surprise of the Raikage and Naruto, Killer Bee is involved in the fight (Bee can stop the attack of his own brother).
Bee says to Raikage he is willing to offer his life for Naruto can move into the battlefield . Tsunade asks to the Raikage for the respect the wishes of others.

Bee tries to protect Naruto

The Raikage says he has to win this war at all costs. And he will do anything to win this war. The Raikage says he is quite happy to have the opportunity to kill Naruto instead of his brother and like any Jinchuuriki, Bee has better control over the 8 tailed beast.
The Raikage concluded his idea that the life of a Jinchuuriki serves only to maintain the balance of power in the Shinobi Villages. The Jinchuurikis have no control over their own lives nor can they decide decisions for individualism, but for the good of the people of the own village.
Bee reveals that he has a feeling to protect Naruto and the Raikage asks why so much faith in Naruto. Bee asks if the Raikage will give a punch to Bee, the Raikage will know what is happening in the heart of his brother.
