E.G. Mine first appears in Trigun, episode #15 (The Demons eye), and in issue #2 (chapter four) of Trigun Maximum. He is #2 of the Gung-Ho Guns. His main objective, as is of all the Gung-Ho Guns, take down Vash the Stampede. His weapon of choice is something similar to a large shell, witch he wears over his entire body. In the manga, the entire shell is completely covered in spikes, and in the anime only certain parts of the shell have spikes on it. These spikes are released, flying at super speed, when the strings that are attached to Mine's fingers are tugged. The strings are attached to his fingers by metal rings. E.G. Mine does engage in a short battle with Vash the Stampede in episode #16 (The Fifth Moon) of Trigun, and shortly after, Rai-Dei the Blade appears and kills E.G. Mine with his sword. In Trigun Maximum, he does pretty much exactly the same thing during battle as in the anime, but instead of being killed, he is simply defeated by Vash the Stampede. Not much else is known about what happened to him after that. Probably death for failing in his mission, since Legato Bluesummers was watching their battle.
