Edolas

World

Edolas is the parallel world of Earthland where magic cannot exist within a human's body. As a result, the people of Edolas resort to sucking things from earth to replenish the magic supply of their own world. Its Kingdom is run by a psychotic king named Faust who has outlawed guilds such as Fairy Tail. As a result, Edolas Fairy Tail is considered a dark guild with its members labeled as wanted criminals.

Edolas is a strange and exotic world that is filled with the most bizarre plants and animals. From giant fish with legs to humongous trampoline-like mushrooms to floating islands and rivers, Edolas is without a doubt, a world of fantasy and majesty.

The human residents of Edolas are mostly the same as the human residents of Earthland. However, the main difference between the two is that their personalities are in many cases polar opposites. For example, Earthland Natsu constantly gets sick while riding any sort of transportation whereas Edolas Natsu is a speed demon who drives a fire-spewing car.

Exceed

Diverse Exceed

The Exceed are are flying cats that the humans of Edolas perceive as gods. In reality, the Exceed have no magical power beyond their wings and the queen's premonition abilities. They made up their ability to strike humans down as a means of gaining greater respect from humans, who had previously thought of them as lower beings. They are, however, the only beings in Edolas who possess internal magic, which only enables them to fly.

The Royal City of Edolas

The Royal Capital is the main city in Edolas where most of the inhabitants reside, almost similarly to Magnolia Town in Earthland. It houses its most affluent and most powerful political figure, King Faust, who reigns the entire country with an iron hand and uses propaganda as a tool to bolster his principles and widen his support-base. In addition, its home to the Royal Army which loyally serves Faust to uphold his authority and control.

Faust	Faust is the king of Edolas and responsible for the Anima that sucked Fairy Tail into the alternate world. He wishes to use their stolen power, which is sealed in a Lacrima, to create a limitless supply of magic for his magic deprived world.
Mystogan	He is the prince of Edolas and a former Fairy Tail mage. He's also the counterpart of Jellal. He came to Earthland to help stop the Anima from wreaking havoc. He gives the main cast X-Balls which allows them to use their magic in Edolas.
Erza Knightwalker	Also known as a "Fairy Hunter" because of her successful hunts involving members of Edolas Fairy Tail, she serves as the captain of the Royal Army's 2nd Magic Division.
Hughes	The captain of the Royal Army's 3rd Magic Division who owns and controls a theme park within the Kingdom of Edolas.
Sugarboy	Captain of the Royal Army's 4th Magic Division who sometimes aids Erza Knightwalker in her "Fairy Hunts".
Pantherlily	The only Exceed to serve as one of the captains of the Royal Army's magic divisions. Unlike his fellow Exceeds, he has two forms, a small body similar to that of Happy, and a muscular, human-panther hybrid. In addition, he disregards his race and his home country, Extalia.
Byro	He serves as the Chief of Staff of the Royal Army.
Coco	She serves as the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Royal Army as well as a messenger.

Extalia

Extalia

Extalia is the kingdom of Exceed and is home to most and only the Exceed race.

Exceed	Description
Shagotte	The queen of Extalia, as well as Charle's mother. She has the ability to see into the future which she uses to make the humans believe she has control over death.
Nichiya	He serves as Extalia's Imperial Guard. He is also Ichiya's counterpart.
Nady	He serves as the Minister of State under Shagotte's command.
Pantherlily Pantherlily (Chibi Form)	Despite being an Exceed, he serves under the command of Faust, as the Magic Malitia's 1st Division Commander of the Royal Army.

Edolas Fairy Tail Guild

Fairy Tail Guild of Edolas

This is the alternate version of the Fairy Tail guild from Earthland which is the only magic guild in all of Edolas and has been branded as an illegal guild that must be destroyed by order of King Faust. In addition, all of its members are variably different from their Earthland counterparts (with the notable exception of Mirajane), ranging from looks to personality to relationships.

Lucy Ashuray Edolas Lucy	Unlike her counterpart, Lucy Heartfilia, Lucy Ashuray has a vulgar and aggressive personality. She's quite Tsundere and seems to have a small crush on Edolas Natsu. She also argues with Edolas Levy rather than getting along with her.
Natsu Dragion Edolas Natsu	Unlike his counterpart, Natsu Dragonil, Natsu Dragion has a personality disorder whereby he tends to be confident and rude in an automobile, while outside he tends to be shy and apologetic. He's also deathly afraid of Edolas Lucy.
Gray Surge Edolas Gray	Unlike his counterpart, Gray Fullbuster whose known for his stripping fetish, Gray Surge tends to wear excessive layers of clothing and has a huge crush on Edolas Juvia.
Juvia Edolas Juvia	Unlike her counterpart, Juvia Loxar, Edolas Juvia is self-confident and doesn't have an obsession with or a huge crush on Edolas Gray. Rather, she tends to commonly reject his offers and advances but she does have a small liking towards him.
Levy Edolas Levy	Unlike her counterpart, Levy McGarden, Edolas Levy is vulgar, aggressive and argumentative just like Edolas Lucy, which may explain why they never get along. She also tends to say "You Suck!" after lashing out at her obnoxious fellow guild members (in the anime).
Wendy Edolas Wendy	Unlike her counterpart, Wendy Marvell, Edolas Wendy is tall and curvaceous and has a more confident and mature personality.
Elfman Edolas Elfman	Unlike his counterpart, Edolas Elfman is a lot weaker and a cry baby who apologizes for his uselessness, even receiving a lecture on how to be stronger from Edolas Jet and Droy.
Lisanna	Lisanna appears to be alive in Edolas compared to her Earthland counterpart who had passed away two years ago. Like Mirajane, her personality is similar to that of her counterpart. SPOILER WARNING: Click here to reveal hidden content. It was later revealed that she is, in fact, Lisanna from Earthland and not from Edoras. After falling unconscious, she was absorbed by an Anima from Mirajane's arms and transported to the alternate world. Upon encountering the Edoras Fairy Tail, she had learned that the Edoras Lisanna had passed away.
Mirajane	Unlike the other Edolas Fairy Tail members who act and behave in complete contrast to their Earthland counterparts, Edolas Mirajane seems to be an exception. She's bubbly, sweet, and kind similarly to Mirajane from Earthland. Some explain that the reason for this is because of Earthland Mirajane's drastic personality-change as a teen due to the death of her sister.
Macao Edolas Macao	Unlike his counterpart, Macao Conbolt, Edolas Macao wears glasses.
Wakaba Edolas Wakaba	Unlike his counterpart, Edolas Wakaba apparently doesn't smoke as shown by the "no smoking" print on his shirt. This is further reinforced by the fact that there is no smoking pipe in his presence.
Jet and Droy Edolas Jet and Droy	Unlike their counterparts, both Edolas Jet and Droy are vying to become the strongest members of Edolas Fairy Tail as shown when they reprimand Elfman for being too weak to be a real man.
Max and Warren Edolas Max and Warren
Nab Edolas Nab	Unlike his counterpart, Edolas Nab is apparently a workaholic as seen from Max (Jet in the manga) who says that he works too much and should take a break.
Reedus Edolas Reedus	Unlike his counterpart, Edolas Reedus is a lot slimmer who tells Edolas Gray to shut up and even makes a joke that he should "slim down" on the clothing.
Bisca & Alzack Edolas Bisca and Alzack	Unlike their counterparts, Edolas Bisca and Alzack are not afraid to display their affection for each other. In addition, Edolas Bisca calls Alzack "Al-Al" and Edolas Alzack calls her "Bis-Bis".
Cana Edolas Cana	Unlike her counterpart, Edolas Cana does not drink and presents herself in a more elegant and lady-like manner.
