A greedy and corrupted man who has a weird taste in woman. He also has a contract with the Celestial Spirit Virgo.
Everlue's origin was never discussed in manga nor anime. Only thing that has been revealed is that he has enough money and authority to withdraw citizenship from certain people.
Everlue was created by series creator Hiro Mashima as a short time villain. He first appears in Fairy Tail volume 2 and episode 3. His Japanese voice actor is Katsui Taira, and his English voice actor is Chris Ayres.
Prior to the main event, Everlue threatened a writer named Kemu Zaleon to write a novel starring himself as a main character, obviously him being high and mighty as well. Kemu initially refused at first, but Everlue threatened him that if doesn't agree to write a novel about him, Everlue would withdraw citizenship of Kemu and his relative, which prevents them from joining merchant or workmen guild. Kemu finally gave in wrote the novel, however for refusing the offer once, Everlue got angry and forced Kemu to write the whole novel in a solitary cell for three years. The novel was completed and made Kemu commit suicide. Years later his son Kirby request a job of destroying the book, which Natsu, Happy and Lucy took. Everlue ends up fighting against Lucy by himself and gets defeated by Cancer.
Everlue has his own magic Diver, which allows him to dive into any surface and swim around. He is also a Celestial Mage and owner of Virgo.
