“My hair isn’t all blue in the film and Justin Chatwin’s hair isn’t 10-feet high, so I think everything changes a bit or gets lost in translation, so I hope that [the fans are] pleased,” Rossum offers. “I think the core of what it it and the core of the story and the core of the characters is the same.”
O.o; Those aren't the reasons fans are protesting to the movie. Based on reviews from people who've seen it in other countries, FOX's adaptation of the film really deviates from the core of the story and the characters. In short, FOX doesn't understand the Dragonball story universe and why fans enjoy it. Which causes the movie to be CRAP.
Generally, if a trailer looks good, people will see the film. If the trailer looks terrible... well, you get the idea. Not to mention, if people hate the movie concept, then you have to work really hard to convince them that they should see the movie, and there hasn't been anything like that in North America.
