Bulma is a genius inventor at the Capsule Corporation and inventor of the Dragon Radar. She met Goku and together they began the journey for the Dragon Balls.

Carey Fuller is a character who only appears in the movie DragonBall Evolution. He picks on Goku at school.

Chi Chi is a skilled martial artist, the wife of Goku, and the protective mother of their two children, Gohan and Goten.

Goku is one of the last members of the Saiyan race, sent to Earth as a baby and raised among humans. As a powerful martial artist, he defends Earth against the aliens who come to destroy it.

Adoptive grandfather of Goku. He found Goku in a crashed spaceship as an infant.

In DragonBall Evolution (2009), lord Piccolo was more like Piccolo Daimao and Piccolo Jr combined. He also lacked a "good half" (Kami-sama). Lord Piccolo didn't seek for youth- he was young already. After being defeated by Goku he called himself "Neo Piccolo", dressed in all red.

Master Roshi is a legendary martial arts master who trains some of the Z-fighters during Dragon Ball. He also developed the Kamehameha wave.
