Why Dragon Ball GT Sucks?

@John_Martone: Indeed. I found countless contradictions and simply unnecessary elements that were added to its unorganized plot. I specifically detested that Goku was turned back into a child simply for wanting to attract the original DB market but in the end they concluded it by abandoning their idea for Goku to once again turn into an adult in his Super Saiyan 4 form. Although the idea of Goku being reverted back to a kid was never good in my perspective at all.

I watched one episode. Something just switched on afterwards. It was along the lines of "why am I still watching Dragonball?"
 
I don't know. Maybe it was the fact that I had already spent 3-4 years watching all those other sagas that I grew tired of it. Maybe it's because I found nothing interesting in GT. In the end, I'm glad to know that I didn't miss anything.

i didnt mind GT....it was alright...althou the story line was kind of hard to follow...but it still has my favortie charater in it...SS4 gogeta!!!!!

they needed to have other characters involed  
the characters they should have used is more vegeta, piccolo, gohan, uub and others also could have got screen time

one thing i will comment on..is the bad guys....the werent really all that, there was like 2 cool ones and the rest suck balls man!!! Like big dragon balls!!!!

GT could have been a master piece. 
 
They got awesome ideas for sagas: 
- Fliyng around the Universe (could've been good, believe me)
- Revenge of Tsuffulins (Baby controling everyone on Earth could've been better) 
- Linking Hell with Earth (we could've seen good fights aganist older enemies instead of that Super 17 that doesnt make any sense) 
- Negative Karma from the Dragon Balls (this is the perfect idea for the final saga of Dragon Ball, it's in the name: DRAGON BALL, a saga with cool fights all about the Dragon Balls would've been awesome, but they ruined it by making the dragons kinda stupid and we've seen only Goku and Pan fights... FAIL)  
 
They screw it up with stupid characters (Pan is annoiyng and Para Para Brothers sucked major balls), bad usage of characters (we could've seen Uub pwning someone, Gotenks and Trunks fusing and fight someone, Vegeta kicking ass, Yamcha and Tien... I dont remember them on GT, Krillin did nothing), LOTS of plotholes, low caharcters feats (Goku got cut by glass, Baby couldnt one shot a planet, Kamehameha x10 only destroyed a few mountains), fights coul've been better, and PICCOLO SHOULDNT DIE LIKE THAT!!!! 
 
There, I said it. 
 
Oh, and Goku being a Kid again was also dumb.

They should have killed goku, and use Gohan, or Gotenks. 
 
Piccolo shouldn't have died at all. 
 
In short, they should have use the next generation to give some fresh air...

The show is tolerable if: 
 
-Watch it ONLY in Japanese 
-Skim through the Black Star Saga

well to be honest i loved dragon ball gt  hense been a big  dragonball saga fan i watched it every week it was on. gt was quite different  like come on adding in those black dragon balls was quite cool,gave us a chance to see different planets yes i miss the Z fighters but times had to change damn you yamcha and tien your not so great but your still awesome use took on cell and survived :) goku changed into a boy was quite interesting and we got to see ssj4 which was awesome anyone who dont agrees with that can go to hell.

SSJ4 had a good design, but it sucked at figthing, SSJ1, SSJ2 and SSj3 were more impressive.

@kira112: Then I'll gladly be the first one to hop on the train to hell. SSj4 was pathetic think about it Goku was in his kid form when he beat super 17 and Omega Shenron the final Villains in DB. At time times I wish I never laid eyes on GT.

Oh no ! It's just that after making him a spirirt or revive him for the X times, given the capability of Saitan to come back stronger, you could be sure that whatever it happen, Goku will win. It's the superman syndrome... really. 
 
No wonder why these two characters haves so much flame wars going on : they are so much powerful that a time, it's boring. Me, after the Cell Saga I was kinda off the show, even if I watched from afar. GT was just the upcoming of that logic.

@kira112: That move is from SSj4 Gogeta, Goku as a SSj4 was not very impressive at all.

goku didn't need to become a kid again, there were over 9000 plot holes and mistakes (like how piccolo's suicide was in vain since the writers forgot he fused with nail before kami and how krillin couldn't be brought back by shenron even for old times sake since he was wished back in dragon ball) the black star dragon balls were a waste of time since they could use the earth dragon balls to wish the black star dragonballs back to earth and to change goku back into an adult, it might not have even taken place in the same version as the last two series did, it made dragonball evolution look like an oscar winner, in the end goku leaves his family and lets everyone he loves die of old age without him being there.

Personally I liked GT to a degree. Don't get me wrong it wasn't anything near DBZ or anything but I kind of liked the SSJ4 appearance and the fight against nova. The down points of GT are there are a lot of plot holes. For example how did the earth not blow up from a Gallick gun attack from Great APE Baby Vegeta. Then the de-powered every character in the entire dbuniverse except Goku to the point that even Vegeta looked like the Krillin in DBZ when compared to GOku. Best thing I liked is the appearance of SSJ4 Gogeta. That was epic.

It borders between fanfiction and offical story. They have good ideas, like the GT Movie, SSJ4, and Baby, but are greatly hinder by plot holes, like how they introduce stronger fighters with no build or contination....

as by my name you can tell i hate the dbgt for many reasons. 1st kid goku wtf. 2nd pilaf is dead from super buu's human extinction attack and dende only wished back good people. 3rd why didn't they use earth's dragonballs to wish the black stars back to earth and to fix goku. 4th if pan couldn't go super saiyan then how can her grandson who is only 1/6 saiyan. 5th goku leaves his family and friends to train with a dragon who is over 9000 times weaker than him (as proven in the king piccolo saga when piccolo kills shenron it implies that goku is stronger since he kills king piccolo). 6th piccolo's death was in vain since the writters forgot that he fused with nail, therefore, making him a different namekian than the kami before he split with piccolo (so the black star dragon balls should never have existed). 7th majin buu didn't have to fuse with uub to fight baby vegeta, they could have teamed up and baby wouldn't have stood a chance (i know mr satan told buu not to kill anymore i don't mean kill baby just make him leave vegeta's body like what goku did). 8th (and last even though i have more) everyone is weak except goku when in dbz everyone was strong. 
so in short dbgt isn't a direct sequel to dbz since there is continuity and it sucks
