Other characters were pretty much useless, but in DBZ they all had better roles. "This pretty much sums it up. The worst thing about GT is easily Kid Goku for me. I guess I didn't mind SS4 that much, but making Vegeta go to SS4 was really goofy.

" @comicfanforever: GT is better then evolution. The only thing evolution has in common with it's name sake is a few of the character names. GT still looks and feels like its set in the Dragon Ball universe to me, just a very very bad Dragon Ball. Evolution is fun to watch just to see how badly a writer/director/company can utterly destroy a series in every conceivable way, and some how still manage to not have the rights taken away from them. " The reason why I detest GT so very much is mainly because they reverted Goku back to Kid Goku, other reasons would be the hopeless plots, pathetic villains and Super Saiyan 4 wasn't as epic as it could have been, I didn't like its design and the last battle against Omega Shenron could have been much better than it was. ND "Greed. They wanted to reset the show to the wacky roots of (Dragon Ball), yet wanted to keep the over the top super fighting of (Dragon Ball Z) Plus it was just so much less inspired. By that point they had already scraped every inch of the barrel, and the mythos they had set up just kept getting retconed/contradicted.

I know we got some fun'ish sequences out of it, but I really feel like the entire thing was just let off the chain. Realizing that there was no good way to spin it, they just decided not to spin it at all. Massive contradictions, and things "just happen" that feel implausible or unnecessary.
