why didn't anyone in db z became a god?

you see harems where the most weakest characters become omnipotent so why didn't anyone from dbz do that?

Well, maybe it has something to do with the fact that they're more powerful than the gods of their universe, the Kais. MUCH more powerful.

Do you have any examples? The only series i can think of are tenchi muyo and the Nasu verse.

The DBZ universe doesn't really have any omnipotent gods like the other comics/mangas.

I would say Vegeta was the closest of considering to become a god when he was planning to wish for immortality or something like that.

Kami is roughly translated as "god" and Dende became Kami-sama at one point, so Dende = God.
