If Ki was the same as magic Goku could have easily done what Buu did, and changed the tournament pairings easily. It is also proven that Buu possesses Ki because it was seen during the fight with Kid Buu that he can become exhausted and weaker when fighting a much more powerful enemy like everyone else in DBZ.

anywho's I know what Ki is and it's spiritual energy that comes from our life form.

@DBZ_universe: Ki itself in't magic. That's my only point.

@MarioRedfield: KI also protects you from magic and makes magic look worthless.

Vegito still keeping his powers as a candy is an example, cause of his high KI the magic didn't work completely, another is SSJ4 Goku cause he goes from kid to his original adult size cause his KI is overpowering the magic of the Black Star Dragon (which has to restriction and is the strongest dragon), Vegeta resisting Babidi's control is another as well.

KI can be used to reverse magic IMO.
