 Where "Dogs: Prelude Vol. 0" carved out each characters origin, "Dogs: Bullets & Carnage vol. 1" begins the fateful journey down their pathways. Slowly, the book, brings each individual closer to the next. In this volume, Badou gets into a load of trouble by getting himself caught by the Mafia. Heine is his only hope of making it out alive, but he seems to have other problems plaguing him. Naoto, the Sword wielding female makes another appearance, searching desperately to gain entrance to the underground. Even though Mihai shows up in this volume, there is little story pertaining to him. The main focus lies on Heine and Naoto as their lives intermingle, but is this intertwining for the better or the worse?
