History

Founded on July 11, 1973, Dogakobo has been involved in over 40 anime productions to date, although most of them as assisting or inbetweening rather than primary production. The company's first work was on Babel II and Gegege no Kitarou in 1973. Their first fully-produced work was the 2004 anime film Kahei no Umi (also known as KAHEY - A Certain Captain's Life).
