The absurd mystery comedy centers around Kazuhito Harumi, a high school boy who is obssessed with reading books. One day, he is killed in the middel of a robbery - and resurrected as a dachshund dog. Unable to read in his new form, the hapless Kazuhito now belongs to Kirihime Natsuno, a saistic novelist who uses scissors on Kazuhito to abuse him.

Kirihime Natsuno is a carbon copy of Hitagi Senjogahara (Bakemonogatari - fourth favourite animé). Also has a pen name of Shinobu Akiyama. Shinobu being a vampire character from Bakemonogatari.

Wonder where their inspiration is from?

Haha, I mentioned over in the Giantbomb anime thread that I got the fuck out of this after making it to the end of the opening animation. Will not come back unless everyone starts raving about it a few episodes down the line (unlikely). Plus I have a dachshund and why would I want to watch a show about one, even if it's technically human, getting abused :(

@rubberluffy: For what it's worth the second episode didn't have animal abuse so much as it had a guy fighting Natsuno/Shinobu with some kind of "book-fu." But yeah, I don't forsee this getting much better.
