The referee of the Beyblade animated, manga, and video game series and announcer. He loves to introduce the competitors and when the match is about to begin, he used his signature catchphrase: 3, 2, 1... LET IT RIP! (GO! Shoot! in the Japanese version).
DJ Jazzman is everybody's favorite Beyblade referee and announcer. He loves a great match, and introduces the teams to the crowd and the viewers at home. Before every match, he asks the bladers if they are ready, and when it's time for battle, he'll say the signature catchphrase for starting every match: 3, 2, 1... LET IT RIP! (GO! Shoot! in the Japanese original anime) Once Jazzman says that phrase, launch those Beyblades! In the manga, he shares the same thing as the anime version until Daichi took over in Vol. 14. In Metal Fight Beyblade, he has his very own Beyblade, Earth Eagle. In the anime, he has a "hip-hop" style with hand signs for starting matches. Jazzman represents the rules of Beyblade play. He even starred in his very own manga, Bakuten Hero Blader DJ.
In addition to the anime and the manga, DJ Jazzman plays a similar role in the Beyblade video games. Again, he has the same countdown phrase before the match starts. The only appearance so far is Beyblade Super Tournament Battle as the game's referee, and a playable character.
