Reborn's first pupil, he used to be just as pathetic as Tsuna but eventually became one of the most powerful mafia bosses.
Dino used to be a pathetic loser but was selected to be the next head of the Chiavarone Family, and was trained by Reborn to become worthy of this title. He one day stood up to a pack of thugs when they threatened to kill all of his men who were already defeated, and it was then that Reborn granted him his two weapons, a whip and a turtle named Enzo who would grow to giant proportions when wet. Ever since then he has swerved as a sort of older brother to Tsuna, and eventually met Hibari and could see that he was a wild horse who needed to be broken, and since then became his personal tutor and rival.
