June Manga Pre-Order/Demand For Publication Web-A-Thons! Fans-now YOU can make a book see print earlier than scheduled!

Gardena, CA (June 11, 2009)- Digital Manga Publishing, one of the industry's most innovative and unique companies, is pleased to announce a special program for yaoi fans who have been waiting patiently for titles to see print an opportunity to make it happen themselves! Junémanga.com is finally offering awaiting yaoi fans an opportunity to acquire selected anticipated yaoi titles, months in advance, through Juné's new Pre-Order/Demand for Publication Web-A-Thon program. This is for those long-yearned titles eager fans have been waiting for, which have yet to see publication anytime soon from Juné's immediate release schedule.

Through this program, we are offering a limited selection of Demand for Publication titles in which you can choose and pre-order a title, (originally set far into Juné's future normal release schedule, or was held back in publication), for early limited print publication (even several months earlier if fan demand is high). Each title offered will have its own minimum dollar amount goal to reach for its print publication. Once that dollar amount goal is reached, the book will be printed and copies will be sent off to those who have participated in this program immediately. This could mean acquiring a title several months in advance before its scheduled street date. All sales will be through PayPal, using a credit card or your PayPal account, meaning your purchase is secure and verified. Shipping is available domestically and internationally, so this program is for all yaoi fans all over the world!

You can monitor the progress of a title's Demand for Publication through the status bar posted on the website. As more Pre-Orders are placed for a title, the status bar will increase, coming one step closer to its dollar amount goal for print publication.

If the dollar amount goal is not reached by the particular deadline date we set, the book will continue back on its normal path of its original scheduled Juné release date. Pre-Orders placed will still get their books early before the street date, but only a couple weeks earlier before it actually hits store shelves.

For those of you who just can't wait for Juné's long scheduled release of your favorite awaited title or artist, this is an opportunity for you to be among the select few to get the publication several months in advance. Be one of the few on your block to get the book early!!! Don't wait—Pre-Order/Demand for Publication NOW!!!

Visit: www.junemanga.com/webathon for more information and to see the very first book up for demand...the novel "All You Need Is Love, Vol. 1"!

Classic Sci-Fi Horror Vampire Hunter D Newest Manga on Apple App Store from UCLICK®

Kansas City, MO (April 14, 2009) – Digital Manga Publishing’s adaptation of the classic sci-fi horror series Hideyuki Kikuchi’s Vampire Hunter D is the latest manga title to arrive in the App Store courtesy of Uclick, the #1 distributor of comics and manga on mobile.  The new Vampire Hunter D manga apps present volume one of the DMP series in six downloads, available now for $.99 (US) cents each.

“DMP is very excited to be working with Uclick in bringing Vampire Hunter D to mobile phones,” said DMP Production Director Daryl Kuxhouse. “I know fans will enjoy having a completely new way to experience the adventures of Hideyuki Kikuchi's half-vampire hero.”

Vampire Hunter D began in 1983 as a very popular series of prose novels written by Hideyuki Kikuchi with illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano. Kikuchi mixed elements of gothic horror, science fiction and romance with the classic Western to produce a wholly original, post-apocalyptic vision of the distant future, where humanity is ruled by vampires and tormented by a host of creatures including demons, werewolves and mutants, as well as half-human, half-vampire ‘dhampirs’ like the series’ namesake, D.

Vampire Hunter D novels have an international fan base, having sold more than 17 million copies around the world. The novels have been adapted into two anime movies, an audio drama, a video game and printed manga adaptations.

“The Vampire Hunter D series is similar to our series of Bone apps, in that it’s another superb example of a story with tremendous scope and scale, presented on the Multi-Touch display,” said Uclick CEO Douglas Edwards. “Uclick is not limited to telling small-scale stories on the Apple devices. This is a blockbuster-sized epic filled with action, horror, romance and intrigue, and we’ve taken great care to ensure that this series of apps truly captures the power of the story and imagery.

“Our presentation of Vampire Hunter D takes full advantage of the large, backlit iPhone and iPod touch screens to give readers a captivating and unprecedented manga experience.”

Uclick has released over 100 manga, comic book, graphic novel and webcomic applications in the Apple App Store. Vampire Hunter D joins a vast and growing group of popular manga titles from Uclick that includes Svetlana Chmakova’s three-volume smash-hit Dramacon, the virtual reality-themed comic fantasy Reality Check!, and the sci-fi horror favorite Guilstein. Uclick has also released comic book apps featuring Jeff Smith’s Bone, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series Tales of the TMNT and IDW’s recent Ghostbusters series.

Most of the iPhone Uclick apps are currently available at $.99 (US) cents each and feature tap-and-swipe, panel-by-panel controls. The Apple devices’ large Multi-Touch displays enable a clear, high-resolution presentation. The zoom feature allows an even closer look at any panel.

To get Vampire Hunter D and other favorite manga, comic books and graphic novels for the iPhone and iPod touch go to the Uclick Web App by typing Uclick.com into the Safari browser or visit the App Store on the iPhone or on iTunes.

Welcome to Minami-Kitazawa Station, where the trains run strictly on time, customer service is an important priority, and the staff is entirely made up of super good-looking guys! That’s the environment 18-year-old Asahi Saruta gets dropped in the middle of when he finds himself assigned there. Asahi’s goal is to one day become a train operator like his father, but never in his wildest dreams did he imagine he’d have to deal with a group of strange co-workers like this. Even though Asahi may have been chosen more for his cuteness-factor than his job skills, can he rise to the challenge, or will the day-to-day mayhem of working in a train station cause him to reevaluate his career path altogether?!

The new school year is here! Fujimori Academy students Kiriya Matsuoka and Tomoe Izumi have been chosen as this year’s princesses, but it’s going to take a lot of hard work to bring them up to speed. Enter former princesses Kouno, Shihoudani and Yutaka for a bit of princess training! Although Matsuoka and Izumi seem willing and able to take over the job of dressing up as girls and cheering at school events, they’re not exactly what you’d call “friends.” In fact, they seem to be about as opposite as two people can get. This animosity spells trouble for a student body that depends on their princesses to give them a warm, glowy feeling all year long. Can President Sakamoto and the ex-princesses convince Matsuoka and Izumi to bond for the sake of the school? Or will it take more than a common experience to bring two very different people together?

EIKI EIKI is the creator of THE ART OF LOVING, WORLD'S END and DEAR MYSELF all published on Digital Manga's June imprint. MIKIYO TSUDA is creator of the popular PRINCESS PRINCESS series, FAMILY COMPLEX and THE DAY OF REVOLUTION, all published on Digital Manga's DMP imprint. The two are best friends and are known to collaborate frequently on projects together.
