I can't see Davis as a villain. After what happened during his and the rest of his team's battle with Malomyotismon. Davis was the only person to beat his attacks.

Also, I can't remember but, didn't they vaguely say in D3 that the first two seasons of Digimon were a tv show?

@Supreme Marvel: Maybe they become the good guys later on. I can see Davis being a perfect opponent for Tagiru. Both are kinda mentally handicapped. :)

Well, Ryo says otherwise. The first two seasons took place in another universe. :)

Also, I don't think the show had the same characters as the season 1 guys.

@MohsinMan99: I like the Americanised version of Davis. Mostly due to Brian Donovon voice talents. I love his voice and general attitude. And Veemon compliments to his character. For me it's Davis > All other characters AND Digimon. Good old Ryo.

The statements of them being from other universes come from the Ryo Games with Millenniummon. Ryo had to deal with the Dark Masters and VR Tamer versions of Tai, Davis and Takato as well.

In V-Tamer manga, Davis meets the Tai from another universe and gets surprised and something like that.

The Digimon show airing that was watched by the characters was in Season 3 I think.

Yeah, the tv show comment was by Takato in the first episode of season 3.

@Supreme Marvel: Tagiru is from the second season of Digimon Xros Wars (season 6). It is Season 7 actually but it isn't officially announced yet.

You would be upset if Davis would be a villain too? I would be a little upset if they all protagonist from previous series as villains.

I would be extremely upset, because Davis is a character I love. It's like if I created a character to be good. Do my best to make him good, bring him through challenges to show his character and then someone comes along and makes him evil. That would piss me off. And the fact it's Davis. Would do some damage to me. I don't believe he could fall under certain spells. So there best had be a bloody good reason for him being a villain. And not because they couldn't think of one or that they wanted more people watching it.

That's like Marvel's kill a character each quarter idea. And that sucks!

I watched the first 2 episodes last night. You're right, I do like, Tagiru.
