DIGIMON ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

Remember the dub US opening of Digimon? Here's a reminder:

IMHO, that was one of the worst dub openings I've ever heard. They absolutely massacred the awesome Japanese version of that song. Only the US dub seems to have done this. What's more...this dub intro was used for 3 seasons!

Here's the original opening for season 1 in Japanese:

To get to the main point, I was wondering how nice it would be if the US dub tried to be faithful to the original Japanese opening ( every dub I've seen so far has been faithful). I came across these awesome videos:

A modified version of Butterfly. IMO would really fit for the ending scene of Adventure:

How do you think these stack with the official dub opening?

Would love to hear your thoughts/comments on this matter. :D

I kind of liked the Digi-rap for the film.

@Supreme Marvel: LOL. I just posted this. Just watch those last two videos. IMO a really nice fan effort.

Oh, that was at least better than the opening. Dunno how you guys put up with that annoyance through 3 seasons though. :)

Changed it to the film version because the other one didn't sound as good.

Now its the second worst dub you have ever heard

But I did like the digimon dub theme as a kid and it bring nostalgia to me now, but the Japanese theme still is way better (Fun fact, I got into digimon because of it theme song)

The 4Kids One Piece is my tops when it comes to bad opening but the Monster Rancher one is right behind it. The original Japanese opening is much better. YouTubeThis is another case where the original Japanese song was completely ignored.

The thing about the One Piece opening though is it has some kitsch value, while the Monster Rancher one is just irritatingly bad. I do like the US Digimon one somewhat and thought it was catchy similar to the "Poke-Rap"(not to be confused with another Pokemon rap)

I have watched Monster Rancher when I was 9 or 10 years old. Yes, the english opening is very bad. I like the japanese openings better. I like the japanese openings of Digimon better than American openings.

To be honest I only really liked the Digimon Tamers Japanese opening, I actually quite like the US opening.
