Well, I have been a busy poster on here these past few days. It's time for me to post some more of these 4komas based on the second season of Code Geass.

My internet was having a horrible connection today. Probably due to the work they were doing after that guy knocked over that telephone pole. I should probably switch to cable based high-speed internet. Seems to be working fine for me now.

Code Geass R2 - Episode 19
Code Geass R2 - Episode 19
This one is a rather goofy but fun 4koma based on the events in Episode 19. I just found it odd how easily the Black Knights accepted Schneizel's audio evidence against Lelouch. I really like how Toudou looks in that first panel. He makes me think of a proud lion. It was a lot of fun making this one. I had actually had this joke written weeks before this episode even aired. I had read episode previews and I was able to basically deduce what was going to happen. I just wasn't sure who was going to be in the room or the setting.
The punch line here is based off something Kanon had said during the China arc. He had mentioned how he took care of all of Scheizel's needs. I played off of that line, because even he seemed to be implying something. Poor Cornelia here. Seeing her older brother like that.

Code Geass R2 - Episode 20
This 4koma from Episode 20 was venting some frustration. It was so irritating having Kallen stuck in the prison for so long. She finally breaks free in this amazing battle. Only for the Black Knights to betray and we pretty much don't see her in this episode. As a Kallen fan it kind of ticked me off. This takes place just after C.C.'s memories have returned. She goes back to the room to get her stuffed doll and walks in on Kallen wearing her dress.

It was a bit hard to pull off this joke. More so in that third panel. I just sort of imagined C.C. slowly appearing in the reflection of the mirror in a very Bugs Bunny style. One of my favorite touches in the art is how the story takes place in the reflection, but you see them in the foreground too.

Enjoy.

Hope you are ready for another Code Geass R2 4koma. In this one, none of the major characters appear. This is based on the ninth episode of the R2 season. I watched this whole episode where Odysseus was being set up to marry Empress Tainzi of the Chinese Federation. I just sat there the whole episode wondering why the hell no one even comments on how young the empress is. She looked like this little child. I thought she was ten, but I found out much later after I made the comic that she is thirteen. It was still creepy, because I believe Odysseus is in his forties. The only scene where anyone asked any questions was Suzaku asked if Tainzi was alright with arrangement.

When this episode aired all the rage in the news was the "To Catch a Predator" series on Dateline. If you haven't heard about this series this is the rundown. Dateline would set up stings of perverts online who try and set up sexual dates with under aged girls. They show up and rather then meeting a young girl they are interviewed by Chris Hansen. When they finally leave they are arrested by the police. These people came from all professions. There were teachers, soldiers, and even a rabbi. There was even a Catholic school teacher that was caught from near my area.

People tell me that they really liked that image of Tainzi running away in the second panel. The dialog basically runs just like these interviews on "To Catch a Predator". I was very close drawing Chris Hansen for this comic, but I felt how this series has a reporter in DietHard Reid that I had to use him.

Someone did make a suggestion that I did wish I would of used. It would be having Xingke hiding outside in the beginning the way the cops are often waiting outside in the real TV series.

Keep your eyes on my blog. I plan to post a 4koma a day until I catch up to my devArt gallery in anticipation for the new 4komas I'm working on. Basically, the new ones are nearly done, but I'm waiting to post them on my devArt gallery until I catch things up here.
