Destroy Destroy

Destroy Destroy is an anime episode of Basquash! that was released on 04/16/2009

As the episode begins, we see the young princess of an unnamed country travelling to Rollingtown, which has smoke rising from it. The smoke is revealed to be from Dan and the mysterious bigfoot throwing balls at him. Dan has little luck in catching the assailant, and is pummeled. Sela has little luck as well, but falls for the assailant in the same way she fell for Dan in episode 1.

After the battle, Dan is thrown into BFB obscurity, with his “legend” status being called into question. With Sela’s and his mech wrecked, he reads reports of his loss to the Platinum Hurricane, and swears to get even.

Meanwhile, Sela meets Iceman Hottie, the man who blocked Dan’s dunk in episode 1, and (after accusing him of piloting the bigfoot from earlier) Sela asks for his genes. He leaves by making her blush, which she finds incredible.

The young princess from the episodes opening is seen again viewing a memorial of the day Dan changed the BFB. The man who attacked both Dan and Sela then attacks the site where the princess was at. The projectile he shot had an X drawn over a picture of Dunk Mask.

Dan awakes from a nightmare in which Destroy (the name he gave the Bigfoot from earlier) attacked only to find an extremely large collection of bigfeet destroyed. Miyuki, angry at this, tells Dan to destroy him. Sela makes an appearance, and tells Dan that she’d be willing to team up. Miyuki puts a plan in motion to lure Destroy out, which he readily accepts.

The plan was this: A bigfoot was to be piloted around town by someone playing a tape of Dunk Mask telling people about fire safety, and the sound would lure Destroy out. Sure enough, it works; Destroy is revealed to be piloted by Iceman Hottie. He tries to attack Miyuki, only to be stopped by Dunk Mask. Iceman, Sela, and Dunk Mask all begin to battle, as the princess watches from her palace. In the battle, Iceman’s intentions are revealed to be the destruction of streetball, since it was started by the man who destroyed Iceman’s match.

The princess reports that there is destiny in the air, but before a victor can be decided, the cops break up the match. The episode ends with a VERY large breasted woman, Haruka Gracia, offering to be Dunk Mask’s producer. Dan comments, “There’s no doubt. Those are real. That’s a Lunar Bust.”
