Destined Rivals

In order to prepare for The Crimson Goddess, Maya and Ayumi take on any roles they can find. Maya shocks the movie crew with the extent of her preparation just for a walk-on role. Tension between Maya and Masumi reaches a breaking point when the remaining members of the Tsukikage troupe discover that Onodera was behind the "Gina and the 5 Blue Pots" sabotage, suggesting that it was a Daito plot to ruin the troupe and get the rights to "The Crimson Goddess." While Masumi had nothing to do with the sabotage, he has decided to allow himself to be Maya's villain in public while he supports and nurtures her from the shadows as her purple rose fan.
