Just recently we were talking about the Anime Network's improved video-playing system-- on the Clannad English dub video --and now I just got word that the Anime Network is going to simulcast the upcoming spring show Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (which you can read aaaaaall about in our Spring 2010 Anime Preview!).
The simulcast will reportedly be available to "registered" users-- registration is free, which means you don't have to be a paying member in order to access the episode, which even one-ups Crunchyroll (who makes the episodes available a week after they air to non-paying members). Not bad!
Episode 1 goes up on TheAnimeNetwork.com this Friday, April 2nd, although now time of day has been listed. There's no word about who's handling the translation/localization, but I've got an e-mail out to see if I can get more details. I'll update here if I hear anything!
UPDATE: The localization is being handled by Seraphim Studios, who you may remember is the group that purchased ADV's Amusement Park Media when ADV sold off all its assets.
So, now that you've got easy, free, legal access to the show, how many of you are going to check it out who might not have been considering it before? And how many of you were interested in the show to begin with?
