Lucy continues the action from the previous episode by engaging Duke Everlue in a battle for the book, Daybreak. Lucy summons Cancer, the crab celestial spirit with a talent at hairdressing, to represent her in battle again the Duke. In order to combat Cancer, Duke Everlue summons his own celestial spirit, the giant maid Virgo! Unknown to the Duke, Natsu manages the impossible: hitching a ride on Virgo through the Celestial dimension, teleporting with her to aid Lucy in her battle.
With Natsu and Cancer's powers combined, Duke Everlue is defeated and the Fairy Tail mages are able to return Daybreak to Kaby. Here, Lucy reveals the secret of the book to Kaby, unfortunately yet again remaining unpaid in the process.
