Deadman Wonderland is about a kid named Ganta who is wrongly imprisoned for murders he did not commit. When he discovers he has the power to manipulate his own blood, Ganta finds he must now escape the Wonderland...
Deadman Wonderland is the first anime series based upon the Deadman Wonderland manga series that was created by Jinsei Kataoka, writer; and Kazuma Kondou, illustrator. It's produced by Manglobe. The anime is directed by Koichi Hatsumi, as his first lead directing role; and the script was written by Yasuyuki Muto. The music is composed by NARASAKI. The first episode debut in Japan on April 16, 2011. The anime contains graphic scenes of violence and use of blood. The series ran for a total of twelve episodes and the last one aired on July 3, 2011.
Episodes of the series were first simulcast on Crunchyroll with English sub-titles to western audiences. The licensing rights was then acquired by FUNimation Entertainment and would host the series on both HULU and YouTube. The English translation was composed by Matt Del Giudice. No release date has been given for the U.S. release of the anime.

Now, Ganta and his new friend Shiro must find a way out of the prison, or else fall victim to the sadistic Director and his diabolical plans.
