Dantalion

Dantalion is a Crimson Lord that works for nobody but himself. Sometimes, he works for a certain organisation, Denizen, human, or even Flame Haze, as long as the subject interests him. He has a rinne which takes a robot form called Domino. He's currently working for the Bal Masque.

Personality

Dantalion is the stereotypical mad scientist. He´s completely mad to the point and he has no real friends besides his own creations, but the fact is that he doesn´t really care about that, his experiments and other lunatic investigations are the only things he really cares about. His motivation for life is a constant research to understand the laws that rule our universe, and he would even get to the point to destroy it if that could fulfill that objective.

He has no shame to run from the battle field whenever things turn dangerous, he has no real interest in battling Flame Haze´s or anybody, so he can become very unpredictable. Most of the time his creations are flamboyant but have no real purpose, tend to explode or are extremely weird, but every now and then he elaborates dangerous plans (if thats the case, you bet the Bel Masqué is behind it), so you should never underestimate him, as he can turn into a real danger.

Because of his odd behavior Dantalion is not liked by most Denizens, some of them even hate him or think of him as an outcast. Even among the Bal Masque he´s treated with some mistrust, because he would do research on their own people and was also responsible for an experiment that created some powerful Flame Hazes.

He hates shiitake mushroom.

Appearance

He wears a lab coat and a pair of goggles. He has long white hair and he ties it. He has a shrill voice and is always shouting around. He often blends Japanese with English, giving him a weird accent, very flamboyant, like his creations. In the light novel, his skin is illustrated with kind of pale green.

His flame color is faded green.

Relationship

• Among the Trinity of the Bal Masque he has his friends and enemies, Sydonay hates him and Bel Peol does not trust him, but they keep him with them only because he´s useful for their plans. But there seems to be a close relationship between Hecate and him, she often calls him "uncle/ojii-san" and protects him from getting into any trouble with the other higher-ups.
• He has a resentment against Bel Peol and hates a Flame Haze named "Puppeteer of Devilish Skills" Sale Habichtsburg because he reminds him of the failures of his past experiments (as Sale was one of his human subject experiments to study the system of contract between Flame Haze and Crimson Lord).
