Dan Straight

Origin

Dan lives in the hometown of Cedar where he grows up with knights who protect the Church. After a short civil war, he journeys and pursues various women after falling in love with them at first sight. Though, most of the women beat him. At some point, he joins Legion and works under Byro.

Creation

Dan Straight is created by Hiro Mashima as an anime exclusive, minor character in the Fairy Tail franchise. He first appears in Fairy Tail episode 132, Key of the Starry Heavens. He has no information regarding any inspiration used to create him. He is voiced by Yasuyuki Kase.

Dan Straight has brown eyes and hair. He is encased in a full body armor except for his head.

Personality

Dan Straight appears to be a hyperactive guy who is blunt with love confessions. He will express loudly with crazy gestures when confessing to Lucy that he is smitten by her.

Relationships

• Samuel - The two seem to be close since Dan Straight will follow Samuel's orders without fail except when Dan is distracted with Lucy.
• Lucy Heartphilia - He loves her and wants to marry her much to Lucy's annoyance. He will chase her down and call her pet names such as Lulu-chama and others.
• Natsu Dragneel - Dan and Natsu are enemies, and Dan does not take Natsu seriously. He often insults Natsu about his strength.

• Happy Lucky - His spear/lance can turn objects and mages small or large when Dan touches them with his weapon.
