Cross game is romantic comedy based on baseball. It received Shogakukan Manga Award for shonen manga in 2009. The plot of the story moves around Koh Kitamura and Aoba Tsukishima along with the memories of Wakaba Tsukishima who died in her 5th grade. Koh struggles to become Ace pitcher of his high school baseball team and then competing to make his team in Koshien in order to complete the last dream of Wakaba.
The final volume of the series was released in April 2010 and has been successfully adopted as manga with 50 episodes series.
