This is what it REALLY looks like. Well, unless you're on Sentosa.

So Faye and I have something in common? Go figure. They never came out and say that she's from Singapore but, seeing as how I don't know of too any other island nations with merlions, I'll have to conclude as such. Although, I should stress that the merlion isn’t actually positioned as it's depicted in the show. Then again, this is the future, so I suppose anything can change.   I haven’t lived in the “lion city” for year and years, but I remember hearing that they were starting some animation studios there. I believe CLONE WARS was one of the first productions, but I'm sure there have to be more. Sheesh... I haven't actually heard of too much animation coming out of other nations aside from Japan, either. There was that one Korean-produced one I saw a trailer for, but I can't think of any others. Can you lunatics educate me?

Edward’s Dad is just as batty as she is - - I love it. He's a different kind of nutty though. This is definitely a case where you can how the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree, even if it isn’t exactly the same kind of apple.   When somebody spoiled to me that she’d eventually part ways with the Bebop crew, I was frustrated at the prospect - - she's my favorite character - - but they send her off in a way that's actually pretty fitting here.  She just leaves a chalk goodbye message and capriciously acquiesces to Ein’s request to tag along, with absolutely no hard feelings between her and her pop.

I’d love to see a show entirely about her. She’s almost like a benign Joker, floating along with chaos without any agenda aside from her latest whim. She enters the Bebop's crew's lives just as randomly as she exits. Happy trails.

Seems like this going to be the last fun romp before the final two-parter, which I fear will be all about Vicious instead of any of the fun stuff I’ve been enjoying in the past few episodes. It's too bad - - I really feel like this show’s really hit its stride in this final stretch of infinitely-fun scenarios.

Whoops!

Also, it's been a while since I saw this anime, but I remember noting that Ed's father would not be out of place in Gurren Lagann. As in he is big, dumb, and unrealistic. In an awesome way!

I enjoy that they don't blatantly say where this was located. It's more fun for people who recognize the location. I really liked the moment where she went to her old house and traced out where her room was. It's a great scene that didn't need a bit of dialog. She even met with one of her old friends and teased the girl that she's a ghost.

Told you Edward had some baggage. Being repeatedly abandoned by your father to the point where you had to name yourself. That's an issue. He didn't even remember if he had a son or daughter. It's people who act in that manner that almost makes me wonder how they became a parent to begin with. That's some heavy OCD.

Sorry to hear Ed's fate was spoiled for you.

If it cheers you up, benign spoiler that doesn't spoil much but probably cheer you up.

This is a somber ep that seemed to last for longer than the alotted time.

Faye seemed so much prettier in this ep than about any other with her recapturing of memories long lost. I'm to wonder just what she will do now.

Too bad about Ed. No idea what is up with her father but he sure got the best of Spike. Ed's quirks and constant lack of modesty were the best parts of the series for me. Oh, and dear Ein, too.

This is one of my favorite episodes, and is probably the most powerful for me. The first time I watched it, I'm pretty sure a tear ran down my cheek. Very touching stuff.

Now for the finale, which is pretty good.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite episode of bebop. Spike and Jet eatting the hard boiled eggs while trying to keep their emotions on the insides after they read Ed's message is one of the pinnicle moments of the series.

The movie is supposed to take place in between episode 23 and 24, so you might want to watch that before heading into the 2 part ending.

Look at the good news, the next two episodes are the series finale.

One of the greatest endings of ANY SERIES I HAVE EVER SEEN.

EDIT: I feel the need to add that I'm NOT just talking about anime endings, I"m talking about endings in any form of fiction i have ever seen, played or read. It's just that awesome.

Bang.

This.  I wouldn't change a thing, and that NEVER happens with anime.  Either the source material is still going on and they don't end it at all, or the source material is still going on and they tack on an ending that doesn't make sense, or it was original material but they got canceled unexpectedly, or there is an ending in the source material but THAT ending is unsatisfying, or its original but the show's writers don't know how to end it...and so on.  None of that with Bebop.

except this is very very wrong.  Hate to say it but it is a very weak ending that is one of the laziest ways out for a who will talk more about it later but your suspicions are right I didn't even like this epsidoe all that much because I felt like I should have hated eds dad but couldn't bring myself to I mane child abandoment is a serious issue and they treated it way to non seriously fo rme here.  FMA much better series

@zaldar: Dude, It's a matter of opinion, my opinion is that it kicks ass. You're entitled to your own.

I always thought it was one of the more emotional and sad endings that I've seen.
