Cover Girl

Origin

Cover Girl was a super-model named Courtney who wanted to make a larger contribution to society, to this end she joined the United States of America's military and became a skilled mechanic, specializing in the repair of tanks. Her well known public career as a model also allowed her a perfect cover as a spy, one that landed her a spot as a member of G.I. Joe.
 (she is usually depicted as blonde in animation and the original Marvel Comics and most other media including the live action film, but is a redhead in the IDW comics)
